This is a review of SheaCastor Oil Hair Butter, made by B.O.S.S. Natural Body Products, based in Nashville, Tn.
Smell
I like the nutty smell of shea butter. Even if you don’t like the smell of shea butter, the best thing about this product is you just don’t smell shea butter. You smell hints of peppermint and floral.
Texture
The consistency of this product is perfection. You can tell care went into the look of the product. It’s perfectly whipped. The container and simple logo also shows the branidng was intentional.
Feel
I love this. I can use it in my hair or on my body. It melts inot the skin easily and doesn’t feel oily or greasy. I also like using it to seal in moisture on my wet hair. It doesn’t feel greasy and adds a hold that isn’t as hard as gel. If you’re a product junkie, I definitely recommend buying this because if you don’t use it on your hair, you can and will use it on your body.
Price
The price is $15 per product. I understand the cost and time that went into making the price so I wouldn’t mind paying that. However, I know I couldn’t pay for it every week. Thankfully, a little goes a long way so your $15 is worth it.
Final Thoughts
The customer service for this product was absolutely excellent. Instead of getting the product to me on the day it was slated, the owner pulled some strings to get the product to me a day before. That’s the beauty of small business, going above and beyond just because you can to make your customers feel special. Bow. #BossLiving
Right now the B.O.S.S. line is limited, but if this is a taste of what’s to come, I’m interested in seeing what’s in store.
