The cool thing about this book is it’s a Reading Rainbow Book.

I also love this book because it’s about a road trip a young girl takes with her Aunt Martha.

We don’t know the name of the niece, but this book brings back great memories of traveling with the women in my family, my great-grandma, grandma, mom, aunt, cousins, and sis, as we would rough it on our own road trips.

The illustrations are vintage and features throwback natural hairstyles.

What I love most about this book is it teaches us to be in the moment and enjoy the little things without technology interrupting good-ol’ fashioned talking.

I highly recommend this book.
