How To Start Your #Authorpreneur Blog: Host Your Domain Name (Part 2)

The time to learn how to blog about your #authopreneur and #indiepublishing adventures is here.

In this 5 part video series, How To Start Your #Authorpreneur Blog, I teach you how to start your authorpreneur blog via a self-hosted WordPress site. I promise you it’s a lot easier than it seems.

In part 1, I teach you how to buy a domain name. During part one, we also learned that a domain name is your ‘virtual address.’ In this video, part 2,  you will learn about how to host your blog.

When you purchase a house, you have to turn the lights on, and that’s what exactly hosting does. When you host your domain name, you give it power or turn the lights on at your virtual home.

There are lots of different electrical or ‘hosting companies’ out there. For the purposes of this video, I use iPage.

Watch the video to see a step-by-step way to host your domain name by using iPage. (You can use iPage services here.)

Thanks for watching!

And FYI. I am a professional blogger that receives compensation from the companies whose products I use by using affiliate links. I am independently owned and the opinions expressed here are my own. You can choose to purchase through the link or not. The choice is yours 🙂 Thanks for reading and your continual support. Remember, sharing is caring.
